The SCSL series non-planar ring cavity (NPRO) lasers are used in fields such as fiber optic sensing, coherent communication, and laser radar seed sources.
The NPRO laser uses a single piece of laser crystal combined with a magnetic field to form a unidirectional non-planar ring cavity (Non-Planar Ring Oscillator, NPRO), achieving continuous single-frequency laser output with narrow linewidth (kHz), low noise, and high frequency stability. Reliable packaging technology, long-term aging tests, and actual installation verification make this series of lasers stable, reliable, and perform excellently.
The spectral linewidth of the NPRO laser is <5kHz, with relative intensity noise less than -140dB/Hz at 10MHz. This is due to the stable oscillator within the laser and the accompanying noise reduction circuit, which effectively eliminates the self-excited relaxation oscillation of the laser.
