Precision laser welding machines use high-energy laser pulses to locally heat a small area of the material. Heat conduction diffuses inward, melting the material to form a specific weld pool, thus achieving welding. This welding method has a high depth-to-width ratio, small weld width, small heat-affected zone, and small deformation. It also features high welding speed, a smooth and aesthetically pleasing weld seam, and requires no or only simple post-weld processing. The weld quality is high, with no pores, and precise control is possible.
