The system comprises a laser source, a material‑feeding mechanism, a dedicated fixture, and a CCD monitoring system. Operators manually load the anode and cathode plates onto the fixture; the feeding mechanism then conveys them to the welding station for laser welding. Once welding is complete, the fixture returns to the loading position, where operators unload the welded assembly and load a new pair of anode and cathode plates to initiate the next cycle. This equipment is primarily used for small‑batch production of metal bipolar plates for hydrogen fuel cells.
